Academic Polish Language Audit Scholarly Writing

Strengthen the writing without changing the research

RQL helps researchers identify language problems and improve grammar, clarity, coherence, readability, terminology, and academic tone while preserving the scientific meaning of the manuscript.

Academic Polish is a language-improvement service. It does not invent evidence, alter research data, replace expert review, or guarantee publication.

Two different forms of language support

Audit the language or improve the text

Some authors want to understand what is wrong before making changes. Others want an improved version of the manuscript. RQL treats these as different services.

AUD

Language Audit

Examines the manuscript and reports language issues without automatically rewriting the original text.

  • Grammar and syntax issue counts
  • Selected examples from the manuscript
  • Clarity and readability concerns
  • Academic-tone observations
  • Terminology inconsistency
  • Repetition and awkward phrasing
  • Prioritized language recommendations
Best for authors, supervisors, editors, or institutions that want diagnostic evidence before deciding how the manuscript should be edited.
POL

Produces an improved version of the selected text while preserving the scientific content and intended meaning.

  • Grammar and sentence correction
  • Academic tone improvement
  • Clarity and flow improvement
  • Reduction of repetition
  • Terminology consistency
  • Improved transitions and readability
  • Downloadable output where enabled
Authors should review every suggested change before submitting or publishing the revised manuscript.

Scientific meaning remains protected

What Academic Polish does not do

No invented findings

The service should not create facts, evidence, results, participants, references, or conclusions.

No scientific rewriting

It does not intentionally change numerical findings, scientific claims, methods, or the meaning of the work.

No replacement for expert review

Subject-specific, statistical, clinical, ethical, and methodological concerns may require specialists.

No publication guarantee

Improved language cannot guarantee journal acceptance, peer-review approval, indexing, or citation.

Frequently asked questions

Important answers before using the service

What is the difference between Language Audit and Polish?

Language Audit identifies and documents problems. Academic Polish produces an improved version of the text.

Will RQL change my scientific conclusions?

It should not. Authors must still review every output to confirm that the intended meaning has been preserved.

Can I polish only selected sections?

Yes. The Main Sections option is designed for selected parts such as the abstract, introduction, results, discussion, or conclusion.

Is this the same as peer review?

No. Academic Polish improves language and presentation. It does not evaluate the work as an independent journal peer reviewer.
