Paper Discovery Research Visibility Scholarly Search

Discover scholarly papers and connect them to useful services

Search and browse public paper records available through Research Quality Lab. Open paper profiles, examine metadata and connect eligible papers with Post-Publication Review, research media and other RQL workflows.

Paper Discovery displays public research records. It does not expose private manuscripts or imply that every indexed paper has been reviewed by RQL.

What Paper Discovery is

A public research-record and service connection layer

Paper Discovery brings together public scholarly metadata already available in RQL. It helps users locate papers, understand the available record and continue into relevant review, visibility or media workflows.

FIND

Find research

Browse paper titles and public records across available disciplines, journals and research topics.

READ

Examine the public record

Open the paper profile to view available metadata, abstract, authorship and publication information.

USE

Continue into RQL services

Connect an eligible paper to Post-Publication Review, research audio, video or discovery support.

Paper Discovery

Public records for already existing papers

  • Published or imported paper records
  • Public metadata and article links
  • Search and browsing
  • Paper profiles and available media
  • Connections to PPR and media services

Abstract Listing

Controlled visibility for selected title and abstract data

  • Title and abstract listing
  • Author, discipline and keyword metadata
  • Full manuscript remains protected
  • May support reviewer or collaboration interest
  • Does not imply peer review or journal acceptance
Important distinction: Paper Discovery is primarily for public paper records. Abstract Listing can provide controlled visibility for selected manuscript metadata without exposing the full private manuscript.
